I was kind of dubious that I'd actually learn new good techniques from making something intentionally horrific, but you were seriously right, blueymcphluey, must-be-psychic mod.  Can I get a user tag?

Also, I made this only as a .jpeg because making it a medium quality jpeg made it more monstrous.  Is that alright?

challenge #50

re-vival

Congratulations commmunity, theskilltester made it to 50 challenge! To celebrate making it to another decade of challenges this challenge will require you to follow the restrictions of two of our previous challenges, on the same graphic(s). One of those challenges must be from after the revival of the comm (#40-49) and the other must be from prior (#1-39). To easily access all of the previous challenges we have links at the top of the community layout and also a challenge post tag.

You may submit one entry per challenge combination by Saturday 24th March

Remember to enter your submission as a new post to the community and include your .psd (or alternate program equivalent). Also to tag your entries with your username, the kind of graphic(s) you've made, 'challenge 50: re-vival' and the tags for the two challenges you have chosen.

Also don't forget you've got two weeks left for challenge #48: monster and four weeks left for challenge #49: series

challenge #49

series

For this challenge you must make a series of graphics that go together as a whole. The set must be a minimum of three images and they must contain multiple recurring elements (the same colour(s), the same concept, the same composition, etc) to make it automatically evident that they come together as a set. You are allowed to combine multiple kinds of graphic within the set (i.e. wallpapers, icons, textures, etc) but it's not required.
This is a good opportunity to create a larger story than one graphic alone can make and also to encourage you to be critically aware of your graphics and what makes them feel the way they do.

You may submit one entry by Saturday 10th March

Remember to enter your submission as a new post to the community and include your .psd (or alternate program equivalent). Also to tag your entries with your username, the kind of graphic(s) you've made and 'challenge 49: series'.

Also don't forget you've got one week left for challenge #47: review and four weeks left for challenge #48: monster
